Profile: international remote work (employee or self-employed) for a company/clients outside Spain.
Education/experience: university degree or 3+ years proven professional experience.
Income/funds: consulates commonly expect around ~200% of SMI for the main applicant (higher with dependents; exact proof varies by consulate).
Spanish clients (if self-employed): up to 20% of total billing.
Health insurance: valid in Spain, no nasty waiting periods.
Criminal records: valid, legalized/apostilled and translated if required.
Proof of remote work: contract/engagement letter + evidence the foreign company operates.

2) Digital Nomad Visa Spain Application Process
Choose your route:
• Consulate (national visa), or
• Inside Spain (residence authorization if you entered legally).
Assemble documents: passport, forms/fees, remote work proof, income evidence, degree/experience, insurance, criminal records, translations/apostilles.

If approved:
